What does Import/Export cost?

The price at the top of this page, and its plans where it has them, show what Import/Export costs, and the install screen shows the price again before you confirm. If Import/Export is paid, it is charged to a card saved in your Orbit dashboard and appears in Plan & Billing. Prices exclude VAT.

Can I try Import/Export before I pay?

If Import/Export is free, or has a free plan, you can install it without paying. Where it offers a free trial, the trial length is shown with its price on this page: installing it for the first time starts the trial with no card needed, and you are only charged if you subscribe, never before the trial ends. Otherwise its price applies from the day you subscribe.

What happens if I uninstall Import/Export?

It comes off your store and loses its access straight away. If you pay a subscription for Import/Export, it is cancelled at the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. Its settings and the data it kept in Orbit are kept for 30 days, and come back if you reinstall it within that time.

Getting started

From the Import/Export docs.

Open the Orbit Commerce dashboard and go to Plugins.
Find Import/Export in the plugin store and install it. When prompted, approve the requested permissions; the plugin needs to read and change products, read orders and read your store settings.
Once installed, open Import/Export from the dashboard menu. The Feeds page lists every import and export you have set up.
Select Create feed to open the setup wizard, which walks you through the feed's basics, its source and a review before you save. Field mapping comes next, on the feed's own page.
After saving, map your fields and run the feed once manually to confirm it behaves as expected. If your plan includes scheduling, you can then set it to repeat.
