What does Workflows cost?

The price at the top of this page, and its plans where it has them, show what Workflows costs, and the install screen shows the price again before you confirm. If Workflows is paid, it is charged to a card saved in your Orbit dashboard and appears in Plan & Billing. Prices exclude VAT.

Can I try Workflows before I pay?

If Workflows is free, or has a free plan, you can install it without paying. Where it offers a free trial, the trial length is shown with its price on this page: installing it for the first time starts the trial with no card needed, and you are only charged if you subscribe, never before the trial ends. Otherwise its price applies from the day you subscribe.

What happens if I uninstall Workflows?

It comes off your store and loses its access straight away. If you pay a subscription for Workflows, it is cancelled at the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. Its settings and the data it kept in Orbit are kept for 30 days, and come back if you reinstall it within that time.

What it can see and change

When you install Workflows, it asks to:

Read only

See your orders, with their totals and status
See one order in full, including the buyer and delivery address
See the list of customers who have shopped with you
See one customer in full, including their contact details and past orders
See the products in your catalogue, with prices and stock
See everything stored about one product and its variants
See which other systems your store is set up to send events to
See whether those systems are receiving what you send them, and what went wrong when they did not
Read its own settings for your shop, including your store name, primary domain and live custom domains, storefront URL, geography and currencies, and the site verification codes on your storefront

Can make changes

Change an order status, payment status and notes; marking one paid sends the buyer any downloads or licence keys on it
Change a customer record, including their email address, tax status and whether you may email them
Send email through your shop's verified sender
Start sending your store events, including orders with customer names and addresses, to another system on the internet
Stop sending events to another system; this cannot be undone and the connection has to be set up again from scratch

Uninstalling removes its access.
